The heartwood and dense structure of beech make it well suited to producing sticks and skewers for the food industry.
An advantage of beechwood is that lead times for bespoke products or specific dimensions can be significantly reduced.
This hardwood is splinter-resistant, difficult to ignite and withstands freezing temperatures down to −20 °C.
